Count Mode

Count Mode (Offset 0)

You can choose between ‘Ring Counter’ and ‘Linear Counter.’
If you change count mode from ‘Ring Counter’ to ‘Linear Counter’ or vice versa while operating, you must make sure to reset (Do not use) and set (Use again) the ‘Counter Enable’ flag (Offset16 – Bit #0).
Until the ‘Counter Enable’ flag is switched over, it operates the previous count mode status.
However, if the count mode is switched over to [Ring Counter] and the current value exceeds the Ring Counter range at the time of the switch-over, [Linear Counter] will operate instead.
