Ring Counter Maximum Value
Ring Counter Maximum Value
Ring Counter Maximum Value (Offset 7, 8)
When ‘Count Mode’ (Offset 0) is Ring count (1), the value set in the Ring Counter Max value will be taken as the upper limit. The count range of the PLC-S Ring Counter is from 0 to the user-defined maximum value (Ring Counter Max Value).
If the increasing pulses are entered when the Ring Counter reaches the maximum value, the count value will be automatically reset to zero (0). At this moment, Carry flag (Offset 20, Bit #0) will be set to 1.
If the decreasing pulses are entered when the Ring Counter reaches the value of zero (0), the count value will be changed to "Ring Counter Maximum Value." And, Borrow flag (Offset 20, Bit #1) will be set.
