3.9.2 Settings
You can modify and check the settings as shown below by clicking [DBMS Settings] in the tool menu at the top of the project.

(1) Connection
Item | Description |
Type | Displays the DBMS settings that you specified when you created the project. You can change them to something other than the way you set first.

Host | If you select [PostgreSQL + TimescaleDB], it will be fixed to ‘localhost’. If you select [PostgreSQL], you have to enter the URL of the PC where PostgreSQL is installed. |
Port | If you select [PostgreSQL + TimescaleDB], it will be fixed to 5432. If you select [PostgreSQL], you have to enter the port number set for PostgreSQL. |
Database | Sets the name of the database. |
User Name | Sets the user name for the database. |
Password | Sets the password for the database. |

(2) Data Retention
Item | Description |
Data Logging | Sets the retention period for 'data logging' data collected in the DBMS. You can remove the retention limit by unchecking the check-box, and you can set the data to be deleted after a period of time by setting the days. |
Alarm | Sets the retention period for 'alarm' data collected in the DBMS. You can remove the retention limit by unchecking the check-box, and you can set the data to be deleted after a period of time by setting the days. |
Report | Sets the retention period for 'report' data collected in the DBMS. You can remove the retention limit by unchecking the check-box, and you can set the data to be deleted after a period of time by setting the days. |
System Log | Sets the retention period for 'system log' data collected in the DBMS. You can remove the retention limit by unchecking the check-box, and you can set the data to be deleted after a period of time by setting the days. |
