[New] Page Recorder

What is a page recorder?

Page Recorder is a feature that saves the values of all tags within a page that you set for a certain period of time from the time a certain event occurs, and then plays that page back.

By providing a continuous, visual representation of data from a specific point in time in the past, data analysis can be more effective and easier to understand. This feature is also useful for tracking specific events or reviewing previous states to troubleshoot issues.

Installation information and recommendations

  • Required specifications

PostgreSQL Version 14.2

TimescaleDB Version 2.6.1

Feature Description

When an alert tag is activated, the tag values of the page are automatically saved to the DB. Recording will continue for the duration you set and will end after the set time, even if the alert tag is active. To resume recording, the alert tag must be deactivated and then re-activated.

The recorded data is stored in the DB and is automatically deleted in 1-day increments after the set recording data retention period. The recording data can be set from 1 to 60 days.
