UltimateAccess Web Trouble Shooting - Basic

  • Windows OS - Region issue

  • DBMS locale is decided by the Windows Region settings during the installation of UltimateAccess Web.

  • Timestamps in the database may have different format if the Windows Region setting does not match the date/time format the user wants.

  • Please check the Windows Region settings before installing UltimateAccess Web.

Web Browser

No sound from web browser

Google Chrome

A) Open Google Chrome and go to Settings.

B) Go to Privacy and security.

C) Click Site settings.

D) At the bottom of the page, click Additional content settings. Select Sound. When the Sound page is opened, select Sites can play sound.

E) In the Sound page, scroll down and click Add button next to Allowed to play sound. Then add the URL where the web server is running.

Microsoft Edge

 

A) Open Microsoft Edge and go to Settings.

B) Click Cookies and site permissions from the menu on the left.

C) Scroll down and look for Media autoplay. Once you find it, click the menu.

D) Set the Control if audio and video play automatically on sites to Allow. Then press Add button to add the URL where the web server is running.
