14.1.2 Settings
Select [Draw] – [Trend] or press  icon to bring up the configuration window as shown below.
Item | Description | |
Name | Assign a unique name of the Trend object. You can use the alphanumeric characters, the Korean alphabet, and the special characters. | |
Max Trend Time | Assign the maximum trend time. The longer the maximum trend time, the longer the refreshing time. | |
Sampling Time | Enter the sampling time of the assigned tags. You can assign time from 1 to 43200 seconds. | |
Trend Type | Select a type of the trend. | |
YT | A Trend which monitors the tag values based on the time interval. | |
Multiple | A Trend which uses same time axis (X-Axis) while using a tag value axis (Y-Axis) individually. | |
XY | A Trend which uses the X and Y axis for the tag values. This Trend type is usually used to find the correlation between the different process data. You can assign a tag to the X-axis as a criterion. Then you can assign maximum 16 tags to the Y-axis. | |
ST | A Trend which displays the data in user-defined steps. This Trend type is usually used to monitor the data tendency based on a criterion. | |
Next | Moves to the next configuration section. | |
OK | Creates a Trend object with the current settings. | |
Cancel | Cancels the configuration and closes the configuration window. |
‘Max trend time’ is specified as 2 minutes by default. If the large value is assigned to the max trend time for monitoring, problems shown below can be occurred.
The display speed of trend data will be decreased.
The conversion time for historical trend will be delayed.
The current time will be different between the trend object and PC.
