XY Trend

XY Trend uses both X and Y-axis to display the tag values. This Trend type is usually used to find the correlation between the different process data. You can assign a tag to the X-axis as a criterion. Then you can assign maximum 16 tags to the Y-axis.

 

(1)    Object Style

Sets the color of the trend’s background area.

Sets the background color of the monitoring area. The user may select one from more than 70 colors.

 

(2)    Trend Area Style

Sets the color of the trend area and the size of the hoverlabel.

Sets the background color of the trend area. The user may select one from more than 70 colors.

Hoverlabel Size

Sets the size of the hoverlabel (the label that appears when hovering over the trend). The percentage ratio is set based on the font size applied to the trend.

 

(3)    Pen

The user may assign up to 16 tags.

Description

Tag name

Sets the tag name to monitor. The user can directly enter the tag name or set it through the [Pen] window that appears by pressing the number icon on the left side.

Tag name

Assign a tag name to monitor. The user can manually enter the tag name or press the icon to browse the tag.

Comment

Enter a description of the pen.

Mark Style

Assigns the mark style of the trend. The default is none.

Pen color

Sets a pen color. The user can choose one from more than 70 colors.

Line style

Select the shape of the line between two values. The user can select one option from ‘No’, ‘Line’ and ‘Step’.

Line thickness

Sets the thickness of the line. The user can assign the value from 1 to 8.

Comment

Enter a description of the pen.

Pen

Sets the pen color.

 

(4)    Legend

Sets the display of the trend legend.

Position

Decides the position of the legend. The user can select top, left, bottom or right.

Tag name

Specifies the length of the tag name to be displayed.

Comment

Specifies the length of the comment to be displayed.

Show Value

Specifies the length of the value to be displayed.

 

(5)    Grid

Configures the grid of the trend for better data analysis.

Sets a grid color. The user can choose one from more than 70 colors.

Show Y-Axis grid

Shows or hides the Y-axis grid.

Color

Sets a grid color. The user can choose one from more than 70 colors.

 

(6)    Ruler

Sets the display format of the ruler.

Bottom Ruler

Sets whether to display the ruler on the bottom.

Max Subdivision Number

Specifies the maximum number of minor ticks on the bottom, which can be set from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 99.

Color

Specifies the color of the ticks on the bottom. A total of 90 colors can be selected.

Left Ruler

Sets whether to display the ruler on the left.

Max Subdivision Number

Specifies the maximum number of minor ticks on the left, which can be set from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 99.

Color

Specifies the color of the ticks on the left. A total of 90 colors can be selected.

 

(7)    Y-Axis Legend

Sets the display format of the trend Y-axis.

Sets the display position of the Y-axis.

Enable pen auto-ranging

If unchecked, the maximum and minimum values are set based on the largest data type among the tags configured for the pen.

 

(8)   X Axis Legend

Top Value

Sets the display position of the X-axis.

Color

Specifies the color for the values of the selected tag to be drawn. A total of 90 colors can be selected.

Tag name

Sets the tag name of the data to be displayed on the X-axis. You can either enter it manually or use the button on the right to specify the tag name.

Min

Enter the minimum value to be displayed in the trend area. If not entered, it will default to the minimum value set for the tag.

Max

Enter the maximum value to be displayed in the trend area. If not entered, it will default to the maximum value set for the tag.

Comment

Enter a detailed description of the pen displayed on the trend.
