6.3 Signature and Two-factor Authentication

You can add a signature feature to the write tag action. This is a feature that requires the current user to enter their password and comment when writing a tag value. All signed actions are recorded in the Audit Trail(System log).

When you click the signed object on a client webpage, Writing tag value window pops up. (You don't need to enter a comment at this stage, but if you do, you won't have to in the authentication window.)

(2) Two-factor Authentication

When Two-Factor is checked, the tag value you requested is not finalized until a user in the Two-factor authentication group authenticates. If the requester belongs to the authentication group, the authentication request message is forwarded to users other than the requester.

Authentication request messages are represented by an icon in the top-left corner of the screen, as shown above, and clicking the icon takes you to the Authentication request list page.

After you press the [Verify] in the right side, if you enter your password and comment, the value change request will be verified.
