8.2.1 Settings

The Radio Button can be added to the graphic page by double-clicking or drag-and-drop the object from [Draw] – [Library] – [Window Control]. You can also drag-and-drop the object from the Toolbox to the graphic page.

You can configure the Radio Button by double-clicking the object or selecting [Radio Button] in the [Object Config] window. Action, tooltip, and the security can be configured in this window.

Item

Description

Tag Name

Assign a tag to store the state of the Radio Button. You can also click  button to select a tag. You can register a digital, analog and string tag.
The currently selected radio button’s value is stored in the linked value.

In case of the digital value, only 0 and 1 can be stored. In case of the analog tag, from 0 to 7 can be stored. 0 indicate the first item and 7 indicates the  8th item.

Number of Radios

Determines the number of radios. (1 - 8)

Captions

Designate the captions of each radio button.

 

(2)    Tooltip

String

You can enter a string, tag, and operation expression in the field. This is used to display a string in runtime when the cursor hovers on the object.

 

(3)    Security

Security Level

This option is to limit the authority according to the user’s security level. You can assign a value from 1 to 100. Lower level indicates the higher authority.

Select User Group

Selects a user group who can use the Radio Button object.

Use User Group

Determines using the user group.

 

You can configure the Radio Button object with basic control features such as [Visible], [Blink], etc. To open the [Object Configuration] window, double-click the object or right-click the object and select [Object Config] in the pop-up menu.

Designate a name to the object. You cannot use space as object’s name.

Type

Indicates the type of object.
