20.1 Settings
A program file for WatchM(WatchM.exe) is located in the UltimateAccess Web directory. Double-click the ‘WatchM.exe’ file then following dialog box will appear.

WatchM Path | Shows path of CimonX to monitor. The ‘’WatchM.exe’ file must be exist in the same location where CimonX.exe is installed. | ||
Project Path | Shows project path which is executed in the CimonX. | ||
CIMON Operation Status | Last Stopped | Shows the latest date when CimonX is terminated. The date is displayed as ‘YY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss’ format. | |
Last Launched | Shows the latest date when CimonX is started. The date is displayed as ‘YY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss’ format. | ||
Monitoring | Switches to monitoring mode when pressing the ‘Monitor start’ button. ‘Standby’ is displayed when pressing the button between termination and restart. ‘Monitoring’ is displayed when pressing the button during CimonX is running. | ||
Paused | Switches to pause mode when pressing the ‘Pause’ button. ‘Not monitoring’ is displayed when WatchM is paused during CimonX is terminated. ‘Standby’ is displayed when CimonX is terminated after pressing the button. | ||
System Memory Status | Shows current usage (%) of system memory and WatchM.exe in MB. If using ‘Check Memory usage’ option, WatchM.exe reboots CimonX when it exceeds the specified memory usage (%). | ||
Monitoring Settings | You can select the monitoring operation of WatchM.exe. | ||
Manual Execution and Termination | User directly starts or closes WatchM.exe apart from CimonX. | ||
Automatic Execution at CimonX Startup and Manual Shutdown | While CimonX is running, WatchM.exe automatically executed and starts monitoring operation. User must close WatchM.exe directly. | ||
Timeout | Specify the time for waiting response of CimonX in minute. If timeout value is set as 10 seconds, WatchM.exe restarts CimonX when the client does not respond for 10 seconds. You can specify from 1 to 32767 seconds for timeout value. Default timeout value is 10. | ||
Enable Memory Usage Monitor | CimonX is restarted when it exceeds specified memory usage (%). You can specify from 10 to 99. Default value is 90. | ||
Save Settings | When you press ‘Save settings’ button after configuring the settings, WatchM starts monitoring according to the corresponding set values. Set values are saved in ‘CimonX.ini’ file. | ||
Start Monitoring | Starts monitoring CimonX according to the settings. The latest executed project will be restated. | ||
Paused | Pauses the monitoring operation of WatchM.exe. |
Setting Up the WatchM |
This chapter explains about settings and operation of WatchM. Check the description below before using the function.
How to configure and use WatchM |
a) Execute “WatchM.exe” in the installation path of UltimateAccess Web.
b) When “WatchM.exe” is executed for the first time, its initial mode is set to ‘Monitoring’. In the ‘Monitoring Settings’ section, the settings can be modified.
c) After the monitoring configuration, press “Save” button to save the configuration. WatchM will operate according to the new configuration from the next CimonX’s execution. The configuration information is stored in CimonX.ini file as shown below.

d) After the configuration of WatchM, the operation of WatchM can be checked on the system status message as shown below.
In case WatchM is not enabled, or the configuration is not saved, a message will appear as shown below.
After saving the configuration, and if WatchM is operating when CimonX is running, the message will appear as shown below.
