1.2.1 How to recovery

You can download any version of the software from the CIMON website (http://www.cimon.com).

a)      To download UltimateAccess Web, go to the CIMON website (http://www.cimon.com), and register for an account if you have not already. Make sure to be logged in before proceeding.

 

b)  Click Support at the top > Download software and scroll down. You will see the Download For Windows button for UltimateAccess.

 

c)  Download the file and unzip the downloaded file to a directory of your choosing. Run the .exe installer file by double left-clicking.

d) Execute “setup. exe” file to start installation.

e) InstallShield Wizard will ask you to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package first.

f) After installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package, wait until the installation starts.

g) When the InstallShield Wizard is launched, press [Next] to continue.

h) Read the End-User License Agreement. You must accept the agreement to continue the installation. Click the I accept the terms in the License Agreement checkbox > Next.

i) Specify the location of UltimateAccess Web and click Next.

 

j) You must configure the Historian DB settings. The default port will be set to 5432. Enter the User ID and the password for the administrator account to run Historian DB. If a Historian DB already exists, you may select Delete old database to delete the existing database and reinstall, or do not select the option to proceed without changing the existing settings. Press Next to proceed.

  • When running Historian DB on a local PC, Historian DB must be installed in the product installation path for integration.

k) Press Install to continue installing.

l) SCADA files are copied to the assigned path. Installation may take a while according to the user’s system environment.

m) During the installation of UltimateAccess Web, the Sentinel Runtime Installation Wizard (key Lock Driver) is executed. It is recommended to close the currently running programs. Press [Next] to begin the driver installation.

 

n)  Check the License Agreement . You must agree with the license agreement to continue the procedure. Select the button labeled press [Next]. [Accept] and press

 

o) Now it is ready to install the driver. Click [Next] to begin the installation

 

p) Click [Finish] button to end the driver installation

 

q) Press [Finish] to end the UltimateAccess Web installation

 

r) Run UltimateAccess Web to check if the installation is successfully done.
