2.3.2 CimonX Autorun

You can automatically run the CimonX when you boot up the Windows. According to the Windows OS, setup methods may alter.

In the Window 10 you have to add CimonX in the [Task Scheduler].

 

By registering CimonX with Windows' Task Scheduler, you ensure that CimonX runs automatically when Windows boots.

a)     Right-click on the “CimonX.exe” icon . Click [Send to] – [Desktop (create shortcut)] on the pop up menu.

b)     Open [Control Panel] and go to [Administrative Tools] – [Task Scheduler].

 

c)      Click [Create Basic Task...] on the top right side of [Task Scheduler] to open [Create Basic Task Wizard].

 

d)     In [Create a Basic Task] window, enter “CimonD’ in the name field, then press [Next].

 

e)      In [Trigger] window, select [When the computer starts] option and press [Next].

 

f)       In [Action] window, select [Start a program] option, then press [Next].

g)     Press [Browse...] button on the right side of [Program/Script] field and select shortcut icon of CimonX.

 

h)    Finish the configuration by pressing [Finish] button on the window.
