2.5.3 Tag Screen
Tags registered in the current page are listed at the bottom of the page window when you select [View] – [Tag Window]. The window will be hidden if you click the function again. You can minimize or open the window by toggling the [Unpin /Pin ] button.
The tag screen shows tag information (e.g. Tag name, tag kind, tag address, and tag type).
Item | Description |
Tag Name | Tag names registered in the objects are listed in the window. An icon to the left of the tag name indicates the tag kind. |
Tag Kind | Indicates the kind of tag for each item. Digital, analog and string tags are displayed. |
Tag Address | If the tag is a real tag, an address will be shown. This item does not show the device. |
Tag Type | Indicates the type of object function which uses the tag. The function is shown as a string such as ‘Visible’, ‘Touch’, ‘Blink’, ‘H/V size’, ‘H/V move’, etc. |
The position of the tag screen can be changed according to the user’s preference. The screen can be dragged and docked on the left/right side or top of the page window.
An object will be highlighted when you click a tag name that is registered in the corresponding object. The object configuration dialog box will pop up when you double-click on the item.
