  1. Communication method must be considered before wiring.

  2. Duplicated station numbers may cause communication error.

  3. Use communication cable that meets the standards.

  4. Securely connect the communication cable connectors.

  5. Connect RS422/RS485 cable to the correct channel.

  6. Cables must not be branched.

  7. The network must not be constructed on the closed circuit.

  8. Cables must be wired distantly from the power lines or induced noise.

  9. External noise may cause communication error. Use twisted-pair cable to minimize the influence from external noise.

 

RS422 Cable Wiring 

Only the first two stations connect TX and RX. The later stations connect TX to TX and RX to TX.

RS485 Cable Wiring 

Connect SDA with RDA, and connect SDB with RDB. Use two-wiring system with the other PLCs in different stations.
