This driver allows for communication with Omron devices using a standard Serial connection.

I/O Device Configuration | To create a new device, click Tools > I/O Device Editor… > click the + icon > click Serial for Connection Type > select Omron HostLink for Device Type.  |
I/O Device Settings
| Once the connection type, device name, and device type have been assigned, the I/O Device Editor window populates with the default settings for the selected communication protocol.  After selecting the correct Connection Type and Device Type, match the remaining settings to the target I/O device’s communication settings. |
Station | In this window, users can assign a Station Name and ID for the target I/O Device.

PLC Mode
Omron PLC can be written when the mode is set to monitor. Set the value of DM6600 to 0101h. Even if the PLC power goes out, it remains in monitor mode.

If the address of this area was used for a digital tag, control functionalities are not supported. Xpanel cannot set/reset these points.
The A000 - A0447 address area cannot be modified by Xpanel (read-only area).
Timer: T0000 – T2143 area was mapped to TC0000 - TC2143 (PV0000 - PV2143).
Counter: C0000 – C2143 area was mapped to TC2148 - TC4095 (PV2148 - PV4095).
The Bank of EM area must be denoted by one hexadecimal character ('0' - 'C') as shown below:
Digital Tag: E[bank]_[word no].[2 digit bit no] (EA_1000.05 : bit5 of E1000 in bank ‘A’).
Analog Tag: E[bank]_[word no] (EC_32 : E0032 of bank ‘C’).
The bit location of the digital tag must be denoted by a two-digit decimal number ('00' - ‘15’) with a dot ('.') separator.
*Exception: Timer/Counter area is a digital point by itself.
