GetLength(Tag)

Returns the number of characters in a string tag.

StringTable (“Group Number”, “String number in a group”)

Gets string data from the string table.

Returns the number of characters in a string tag.

n = GetLength (Tag)

Returns the number of characters in a string tag. This includes spaces and special characters.

“A” is the tag assigned to the object. “ENG” is the string tag: “Welcome”. The function returns the value 7.

A = GetLength(ENG);

Gets string data from the string table.

n = StringTable (“Group Number”, “String number in a group”)

Returns string data from a specified string group. A string tag must be used for the string data.

Returns the 1^st string data in group number 1.

StrTag = StringTable (1, 1);
