You can also design a custom data entry screen using a keypad page, as opposed to using an EntryData object or a key input window with a keyboard. To use a keypad page, first create an object, then select the β€˜Open Keypad Page’ option under the β€˜Touch’ feature in the object configuration window. The picture below shows the configuration of such an object (top), as well as a comparison between the default EntryData keypad (bottom-left) and an example user-defined keypad page (bottom-right).

- When using the β€˜Open Keypad Page’ action, the target keypad page must contain one or more key input window objects.

- In the tag registration section of the keypad input window configuration, the tag is ignored if it is operated on by a keypad page. Instead, the tag assigned to the touch object for the β€˜Open keypad page’ action will receive the input value. This allows multiple tags to receive input from a single keypad page.

- If you add a key input object in a popup page, the shortcut keys for data logging may not work properly.

β€»Β Please refer to the 'Object Configuration' section for more information about the β€˜Open Keypad Page’ action.
