Features and Operations(CM1 Thermistor)
The CM1-TH08A offers a maximum of 8 channels of NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) measuring thermistor.
The input value of the range of resistance must be within 0Ω to 1MΩ.
The user can choose conversion methods between average processing or sampling processing.
When using the thermistor temperature-resistance table, desired minimum, medium, and maximum temperature (℃) and resistance (Ω) can be set to be measured.
The thermistor module obtains three constant values by calculating three value points with following formula, then gets the expression.
The module measures the temperature by applying resistance value to the formula. The values of temperature and resistance must be entered in the thermistor special program in CICON.
1/T = A + B(lnR) + C(lnR)3 (Steinhart-Hart thermistor polynomial)
T = Temperature (K) = 273 + ℃
R = Resistance (Ω)
※Note: You must input temperature-resistance value provided from thermistor manufacturer. Otherwise, temperature value may not be correct.
The entered temperature value is converted into digital value (minimum 0, maximum 16000) and temperature data (℃, ℉). Temperature data can be measured down to the first decimal place.
Each channel can detect the wire disconnection and the excess of measuring range.
There is no limitation for number of modules used on the base.
LED is lighted in normal status, and blinks at the intervals of 0.3 second in error status.
