Exercise: Monitoring the Change in Flow Using a Data Logging Object
In this example, the user will collect and monitor temperature data every second.
Creating Tags
Click View > Tag Editor to bring up the Tag Editor window. Create two analog tags, “Celsius” and “Fahrenheit”.
Data Logging Model/Property Editor
Click Tools > Data Log Editor… to open the Data Logger window. Type “TempTracker” for the Logging Model Name and configure it as shown below:
Data Log Editor WindowIn the Tag List tab of the Data Log Editor… window, assign the previously created “Celsius” and “Fahrenheit” tags to the Data Logging Model.
Add Tag(s) WindowClick Insert > Data Log Table and drag on the page to add the object. In the Property Editor window, configure the object as shown below:

Checking the Operation
Download the project to an Xpanel or run a simulator to test the functionality. If the Data Log Model is functioning as intended, the table should resemble the following:
