8.1.2 Custom Libraries
Users can upload their own images and animations into Canvas using the Custom Libraries function in the Graphic Library window.
To create a new custom library, under the Custom Libraries section, click Create New Custom Library > assign a name to the custom library.
Once created successfully, open the created custom library, and a sub-folder will appear by default. Sub-folder can be renamed by right-clicking the sub-folder > click Rename.
Users can also add additional folders by right-clicking in the Graphic Library window > click New Folder.
Users can upload images into a target folder by clicking on the + icon.
Imported files will assume the name of the file used.
To change the name of an object, right-click on the object > click Rename.
Users can also make use of the Property Editor on a target object for more information on its functionalities as well.
Supported File Type | Description |
---|---|
PNG | Handle high resolution graphics with transparent or semi-transparent backgrounds. |
BMP | Handle an uncompressed graphic with looseless quality. |
JPG, JPEG | Compressed image file to reduce the file size. |
GIF | Short animation of digital image. |
SVG | Handle graphics with transparent or semi-transparent background, but file size is smaller than *.png. Please note that we do not support animated SVGs, but GIFs can be use alternatively. |
