To bring up the ‘String Value’ dialog box, select [Draw] – [String Value] or click the  icon, then click on the background of the graphic page. You may change the configuration later by double-clicking the string value object.
Item | Description |
Address | With this option, the string value (the row number in the string table) is chosen by a real address value with BIT or WORD data. You may type the device address in the ‘Input Device Address’ dialog box or choose an address by pressing the  button. |
Tag Name | With this option, the string value (the row number in the string table) is chosen by a digital or analog tag value. You can manually enter the tag name in the text field or browse for the tag by pressing the button. |
String Group | Specify the group number in which the string values are defined. You can choose a string group between 0 and 32767. |
