2.3.3 Main Tool

The Main toolbar contains frequently used commands in XpanelDesigner. Go to [View] – [Main Tool] to show or hide the toolbar on the top menu. When you execute the XpanelDesigner application, this toolbar shows up on the top menu by default. This toolbar consists of ‘Edit tools’ and ‘Execution tools’.

Edit Tools

These tools are used to edit the graphic page: [New Page], [Open], [Save], [Copy], etc. Refer to the table below for features and their descriptions.

Item	Description
New Page	Creates a new graphic page for the project.
Open	Opens an existing graphic page.
Save	Saves the current designing graphic page.
Save All	Saves all pages.
Print	Shows the 'Print' dialog box.
Preview	Shows the 'Print Setup' dialog box.
Cut	Cuts the selected object.
Copy	Copies the selected object.
Paste	Pastes the cut or copied object.
Find	Shows a dialog box to find a string.
Replace	Shows a dialog box to find a string and replace it.
Zoom In	Enlarges the magnification of the selected page. (V2.50 or above)
Zoom Out	Reduces the magnification of the selected page. (V2.50 or above)

Execution Tools

Execution tools consist of commands for executing the project. Refer to the table below for features and their descriptions.

Project	Opens the 'Project' configuration box for the current project.
Database	Opens the ‘Database’ window.
XPANEL Setup	Opens the ‘XPANEL Configuration’ window.
I/O Devices	Opens the 'I/O Device Configuration' dialog box.
Alarms	Opens the ‘Alarm Configuration’ window.
Security	Opens the ‘Security Configuration’ window.
Data Logging	Opens the 'Data Logging' configuration window.
Script	Opens the 'Script' configuration window.
String Editor	Opens the 'String' configuration window.
Data Server	Opens the 'Data Server' configuration window.
Recipe Editor	Opens the 'Recipe' configuration window.
Data Bridge	Opens the 'Data Bridge' configuration window.
Download to XPANEL	Downloads the project to Xpanel according to the connection method.
Help	Opens the 'CIMON-XPANEL Help' window.
PC Runtime	Executes PC runtime with the connected Cimon TOUCH PC.
