To open the Data Log Editor window, click the Insert Data Log Table icon in the toolbar or go to Tools > Data Log Editor. This window contains the Logger Settings and Tag List tabs, where users can create new data logging models, add tags, and edit existing models.

• Enable CSV Logging

In the Logger Settings tab, users can name new data logging models, set the date and time format, when to start recording data, and how often.

In the Tag List tab, users can see what tags are currently connected to the Data Logger selected, add or remove tags from it, or change the format of the tags. Tags with a data type of STRING are unable to change their formats.

The Basic Properties window allows changing the displayed content and formatting within the object. The object’s name will show up in place of Basic Properties, as displayed to the right:

The Appearance pane enables colors and selections to alter visible characteristics.

The Transform tab provides adjustable properties that reshape or move the object.

There are currently no applicable actions for the Data Log object. This is intended, and there are no plans to add this capability.

While the program is running, the Data Log Table will automatically record data onto it. To go back and see past data from the Data Log table, users can scroll down through the history of it. From there, users can look at specific instances of the record to see data.

Each tag will create a new column of data for the user to look at. Time will always be available as a column for the user to view.
