[Align] is designed for when the user selects two or more objects. Objects can be aligned at the top and bottom or the left and right sides. When the user selects three or more objects, those objects can be aligned to horizontal and vertical centers.

To select a group of objects, click on one object and hold down the ‘Ctrl’ key as you click another. The user also clicks on a blank area of the page and drag the mouse over all the objects you wish to select. You may then align the objects by clicking [Arrange] > [Align] > [(option)], or right-click the objects and select [Align] > [(option)] in the sub-menu.

Left



Aligns the selected objects with the left edge of the leftmost object.

Center




Aligns the selected objects in the horizontal direction with the central object. The recently created objects will be placed in front of the ones previously created.



Right



Aligns the selected objects with the right edge of the rightmost object.




Top




Aligns the selected objects with the top edge of the topmost object.

Vertical Center



Aligns the selected objects in the vertical direction with the central object. The previously created object will be placed behind the one recently created.




Bottom




Aligns the selected objects with the bottom edge of the bottommost object.
