Project Update by Ethernet Loader

a) Copy the project file into the external storage by selecting [Online] → [Copy Project To Removable Memory] in XpanelDesigner.

※ Please refer to the Online Menu manual for more information about the ‘Copy Project To Removable Memory’ function.

b) Connect the external storage that has the updated project to the Xpanel.

c) In (1) select the [Removable Storage -> Xpanel] button in the ‘Ethernet Loader’ dialog box.

d) In the ‘Storage -> Xpanel’ window, within (2) select [Refresh] and you will see projects in the removable disk that can be uploaded.

e) The name of the project stored in the removable disk is listed in (6).

f) To search for a project from another directory of Xpanel, in (4) press the [Select Folder] button.

g) In (5) when the ‘Don’t Update Program’ function is enabled, contents in the project are uploaded except updating the version of the application program.

h) Click a project to update on the list and in (3) select the [Project Update] button.

i) The content for updating the project is displayed in (7). The message ‘All file update: OK’ will be displayed when the update is finished.

- When you select [Project Update], the project and application program in the Xpanel will be deleted first.

- The [Project Update] button will be deactivated when the procedure starts and reactivated when the update is complete. An ‘All file update: OK’ message will appear when the update is completed.

- Do not touch the Xpanel during the update as errors may occur.

j) Close the dialog box by clicking the [X] button.

k) Remove the external storage from the Xpanel and double-click the Xpanel icon to launch the project.
