If the application versions used by Xpanel and XpanelDesigner are different from each other, you must download the project again to run properly.
You can solve this problem by upgrading the application version using the [Upgrade Xpanel Application Program] tool, or by using a different version of XpanelDesigner.
Upgrading the application program
a) If you know the version of the application program or project, download the same version of XpanelDesigner from the CIMON website (www.cimon.com). If you don’t know the version of the application program or project, then install the most recent version of XpanelDesigner.
b) Go to [Online] – [Upgrade Xpanel Application Program] and specify the connection method.
c) Confirm the upgrade version and press ‘Yes’.
| Be sure to back up the Xpanel project file before upgrading the application version. Old projects can be upgraded to newer versions, but new projects cannot be downgraded to older versions. |
d) A success message will appear when the application program upgrade is finished.
e) Upload the project or backup file from XpanelDesigner and download it to Xpanel. See the section Upload from Xpanel to PC for more information.
f) Check if the project screen appears properly by double-clicking the ‘Xpanel’ icon.
