Exercise: Monitoring the Change in Flow Using a Data Logging Object

  1. Click View > Tag Editor to bring up the Tag Editor window. Create two analog tags, “Celsius” and “Fahrenheit”.

Data Logging Model/Property Editor

  1. Click Tools > Data Log Editor… to open the Data Logger window. Type “TempTracker” for the Logging Model Name and configure it as shown below:

  2. In the Tag List tab of the Data Log Editor… window, assign the previously created “Celsius” and “Fahrenheit” tags to the Data Logging Model.

  3. Click Insert > Data Log Table and drag on the page to add the object. In the Property Editor window, configure the object as shown below:

Checking the Operation

  1. Download the project to an Xpanel or run a simulator to check test the operationfunctionality. If the Data Log Model is functioning as intended, the table should resemble the following:
