This section provides an illustrative example of using the library. Settings may differ depending on your project’s configuration.

Exercise: Inserting library objects into the page

In this exercise, you will design a graphic page by adding images from the library.

a)     Press [Draw] – [Library] or click the (blue star) icon to bring up the library window. Select the group which contains the images you want to use.

b)     Select an image on the right side of the window and add the image to the graphic page by double-clicking or dragging and dropping the thumbnail.

c)     Adjust the image sizes, locations, and other properties as desired.

d) Run the project in Xpanel or the simulator. Check that images appear as desired, and make any needed changes in XpanelDesigner.

- Large numbers or sizes of images can cause a reduction in performance. For smooth operation, avoid inserting large numbers or sizes of images in the graphic page.

- When downloading the project to the Xpanel, the ‘Using 256 Bitmap’ option in the ‘Page properties’ menu lowers the quality of images but reduces the executable project size, helping to improve operation.
