To communicate with external devices, each device needs to be registered and configured within the Canvas project, this is done through the I/O Device Editor window.
Data from registered devices can be managed using the Tag Editor once the I/O devices have been properly configured.
Canvas supports approximately 90 communication drivers, categorized into Serial communication (RS232/422/485) and Ethernet communication (UDP/TCP).
