13.1.1 I/O Device Configuration

Select [Tools] – [I/O Devices] or press the icon to bring up the [I/O Device Configuration] window.
Item | Description |
Edit | Brings up the configuration window for the selected I/O device. |
New Device | Adds a new I/O device. Press this button to bring up the [I/O Device Selection] window. |
Delete | Deletes the selected I/O device. |
(1) I/O Device Selection
Press [New Device] to bring up the [I/O Device Selection] window.
Item | Description |
I/O Device Name | Designate the name of the I/O device. Once you enter the device name and press [OK], you will not be able to edit the device name. The device name cannot use special characters such as “!”, “@”, “~”, etc. However, the name may use underscore “_” and dash “-“ characters. |
I/O Device Type | Select the communication type of the target device. Select either Ethernet or serial. |
