22.1 Editor Page
You can edit animation bitmaps or create new ones using Animation Editor.
After running CimonD, double-click [Animation Edit] in the project workspace or select the [Tools] -Animation Edit] menu or click the icon to display the screen below.

Group | Displays the group to which the currently edited animation bitmap belongs. | |
Name | Displays the name of the currently edited animation bitmap. | |
New | To create a new animation bitmap, the current edits will be reset. If there are any ongoing edits, a message will appear asking whether you want to save the changes. The newly created animation bitmap is saved by default in the C:\CIMON"SCADA version"\AniLib directory. | |
Yes | The current edits will be saved and then the edits will be reset. | |
No | The current edits will be reset without saving. | |
Cancel | Returns to the editor page without resetting current edits. | |
Open | You can select and edit animation bitmaps. Each animation bitmap file is in *.cmani format and is by default saved in the C:\CIMON"SCADA version"\AniLib directory. | |
Group Name | A list of groups to which the existing animation bitmap belongs is displayed. | |
File Name | A list of animation bitmaps belonging to the selected group is displayed. | |
Enter a Group Name | Selects the animation bitmap belonging to group and enter a group name. | |
Enter a File Name | Selects the animation bitmap to edit and enter a name of the animation bitmap. | |
Save | Saves the currently edited animation bitmap. Note that if you enter the name of an existing animation bitmap file, it will overwrite the existing file with the same name. | |
Save As | Specifies a new group name and file name to save. The *.cmani file will be saved by default in the C:\CIMON"SCADA version"\AniLib directory. | |
Add Frame | Adds a new image to the animation bitmap. When you select the desired image, it will be added as the last frame of the animation bitmap. Images in bmp, jpg, and png formats can be added. | |
Insert Frame | Adds a new frame before the selected position in the animation bitmap’s image list. | |
Delete Frame | Deletes the selected image from the animation bitmap’s image list. | |
Change Bitmap | Changes the selected image in the animation bitmap’s image list with a new image. You can choose the desired image to make the change. | |
Forward | Moves the selected frame to an earilier position within the animation bitmap’s image list; | |
Backward | Moves the selected frame to a later position within the animation bitmap's image list. | |
Simulation | Tests the actual behavior of the edited animation bitmap. Selecting [Simulation Test] will display a simulation screen where you can preview the actual operation of the animation bitmap in advance. Â | |
Close | Closes the simulation test page. | |
Stop | Stops the simulation test. You can change the duration of the operation by entering a time in milliseconds. The value can be specified between 100 milliseconds and 32767 milliseconds. | |
Start | Starts the simulation test. | |
Quit | Closes the animation editor page. If the edited animation bitmap has not been saved, a message will appear asking whether you want to save it. | |
Yes | Saves the existing edits and then closes the editor page. | |
No | Closes the editor page without saving the edits. | |
Cancel | Returns to the editor page without saving the edits. |
If the animation bitmap is excessively slow, please consider the following:
Check if there are many animation bitmaps operating simultaneously within a single page.
Verify if there are numerous animation bitmaps with the .gif extension registered.
Ensure that images used for the page background have extensions such as png or jpeg (using 24-bit bitmap images is recommended).
