8.4.1 Settings
- CIMON (Unlicensed)
The Input/Output Table can be added to the graphic page by double-clicking or drag-and-drop the object from [Draw] – [Library] – [Window Control]. You can also drag-and-drop the object from the Toolbox to the graphic page.
You can configure the Input/Output table by double-clicking the object or selecting [Grid Control] in the [Object Config] window. Action, tooltip, and the security can be configured in this window.
(1) Action
Item | Description |
Columns | Assigns the number of columns. You can assign from 1 to 99 columns. |
Rows | Assigns the number of rows. You can assign from 1 to 99 rows. |
Resize Column | You can configure the column title and the width. Select the topmost button of the column and press [F] button to bring up the [Row Title] window as shown below. You can assign the value from 1 to 80 to ‘Col width’. You can also drag the cell border to change the ‘Col width’. |
Resize Row | You can configure the row title and the height. Select the leftmost button of the row and press [F] button to bring up the [Column Title] window as shown below. You can assign the value from 1 to 80 to ‘Row height’. You can also drag the cell border to change the ‘Row height’. |
Assign Tag | The cell displays the tag value according to the registered tag name. Example) When you enter the tag name as shown above, the tag ‘A’ value will appear in the corresponding cell (Row1, Col.1). The tag ‘Temp1’ value will appear in the corresponding cell (Row1, Col.2). |
(2) Tooltip
String
You can enter a string, tag, and operation expression in the field. This is used to display a string in runtime when the cursor hovers on the object.
| You cannot use assignment statements or subroutines. When you enter a string, the text must be located between the double quotation marks (“ ”). The text without double quotation marks is recognized as a tag. |
(3) Security
Item | Description |
Security Level | This option is to limit the authority according to the user’s security level. You can assign a value from 1 to 100. Lower level indicates the higher authority. |
Select User Group | Selects a user group who can use the Input/Output Table object. |
Use User Group | Determines using the user group. |

You can configure the Input/Output Table object with basic control features such as [Visible], [Blink], etc. To open the [Object Configuration] window, double-click the object or right-click the object and select [Object Config] in the pop-up menu.

Name | Designate a name to the object. You cannot use space as object’s name. |
Type | Indicates the type of object. |

Style | Composed of [Position/Size], [Declutter], [Line/Fill] tabs. |
Visible | Shows or hides the object according to the tag value. |
Blink | Blinks in a certain cycle according to the tag value. |
V/H-Size | Changes the size of object vertically/horizontally according to the tag value. |
V/H-Move | Moves the object vertically/horizontally according to the tag value. |
Color | Changes the color of the object according to the tag value. |
Grid Control | Show the configuration window of the Grid Control object. |
