15.1 Data Server Device Configuration

To create a Data Server device, click Tools > Data Server Editor > click + icon > click either Add Ethernet Device or Add Serial Device.

From here, assign a Device Name and Device Type, then click OK.

Note that a device’s type can be changed after it is created, but you cannot switch between Ethernet and Serial.
