Select [Tools] – [Alarms] or press the icon to bring up the ‘Alarm Configuration’ window as shown below.
Item | Description |
Alarm Group | Select a group to add an alarm. XpanelDesigner provides 10 alarm groups that cannot be added or deleted. There is no limit to the alarms that can be added to each group. |
Group Desc. | Enter a description for the selected alarm group. You can enter a description up to 16 characters long. |
Save Alarm | Select this option to save the alarm history on Xpanel power On/Off. You can save up to 200 alarm histories in Main/USB/SD memory. |
Using String Table | You can decide whether or not to use a string table for the alarm contents. Check this option to use the string table. It may be more convenient for displaying alarm contents. |
String Group No. | Assign the group number of the string table to be used. |
Add | Adds an alarm to the selected group. |
Edit | Edits the selected alarm. |
Delete | Deletes the selected alarm. |
Move Up | Moves the selected alarm one step upward. |
Move Down | Moves the selected alarm one step downward. |
Copy | Saves the selected alarm’s contents in the clipboard. |
Paste | Pastes the alarm contents to other alarm groups, Microsoft Excel, or Notepad. |
Alarm List | Displays the alarms in the selected group. The alarm number, tag name, condition, value, alarm description, alarm on action, action parameter, alarm off action, alarm acknowledge action, and alarm level are displayed in this section. |
