Transform hosts the features rotate and flip. The user can rotate an object in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction by 90 degrees.

To execute a rotation, select the object and click Arrange > Transform > select the desired option. Grouped objects are rotated together. Also, the user is able to flip an object horizontally or vertically. Grouped objects are flipped together.

To apply the flip operation, select the object and click Arrange > Transform > select the desired option. This will transform the object into its horizontal or vertical mirror image.

Rotate…

Enter the desired rotation up to six decimal places of precision.

Rotate Clockwise 90˚

Rotate selected object(s) clockwise by 90 degrees.

 

Rotate Counter-Clockwise 90˚

Rotate selected object(s) counterclockwise by 90 degrees.

 

 

Flip Horizontally

Flips selected object(s) horizontally based on coordinates in the middle of the x-axis.

 

Flip Vertically

Flips selected object(s) vertically based on coordinates in the middle of the y-axis.

  • When you rotate a group object, the rotation will also rotate individual objects linked together. If you wish to rotate only a single object, then right-click that object and click Deep Select or left-click the specific object in the Project Tree.

  • When multiple objects are selected and a rotation is applied, the rotation will be applied with respect to the center of the combined objects. Specifically, the mid-point of the top-left object corner and the bottom-right object corner will be used.

  • When you flip a group object, individual objects linked together will also be flipped. If you wish to flip only a single object, then right-click that object and click Deep Select or left-click the specific object in the Project Tree.
