In order to create a new device, click [Tools] - → [I/O Devices] or click the icon in the main toolbar.

I/O Device Name: Give a device name.
I/O Device Type: Select ‘Ethernet Device’. The Device Name device name will be used in the Station Name and Tag Configuration ‘Station Name’ and tag configuration of the database.
Select [Ok] for the ‘Ethernet Communication Configuration’ dialog box to appear.

Select ‘[LEGACY] Allen Bradley Logix EtherNet/IP’ IP’ from the Device Type the dropdown menu, and choose ‘TCP’ ‘TCP’ as the Protocol.
Move to the [Station] tab at of the ‘Ethernet Communication Configuration’ dialog box and click [Add Station]. Set up the configuration as shown below and click [OK] to register the new station.

Based on the file type, element no. 256 is not supported. Error code from PLC will be received when unsupported settings are downloaded. Change the PLC settings in this case.
Only INT the device has Word Tag.
The BOOL and REAL device devices can be used to Digital tag or 32bit Analog tagfor digital tags or 32-bit analog tags.
