An Xpanel can act as a data server for both CIMON-SCADA and general Modbus devices. The section listed below describes common configuration options for Data Server devices, as well as specific settings for Ethernet, Serial communications, and MODBUS Slave setup.

For each server device, you may specify which tags to host. Depending on the device type, you can also configure tag aliases and other options.
Runtime only tags may not be hosted using the data server feature.
