Projects can be created or opened by selecting [File] > [New] > [Project] or [Open…]. CIMON Canvas is a project-editing tool that allows users to build HMI software systems. Various features allow users to configure projects to suit their specific needs.

To create a project, click File > New > Project or click Create New Project. To open a project, click File > Open… or click Open Project Files.
Additional menus become enabled to interact with the project once opened. The project workspace allows easy management and modifications of the projects. The status toolbar, which is positioned at the bottom of the window, shows additional information for a selected resource.
