The user can create a new project by clicking clicking File >  > New >  > Project…. You can set the project properties of the project in the the New Project pop pop-up window.

Description

Project Name

Enter the name of the project. This , as this will be used as the default filename for the project, for example, “Sample Project Name.cnvs“. The name can be changed Users can change the name in the Property Editor after clicking on the project name in the Project Tree. Note that the project name and the file name are not required to match, and changing the project name will not automatically update the filename.

Save Location

Specify the path where the project will be savedsave location. The default path is is C:\Users\User\. The project file will be saved in the “.cnvs” format in the selected folder.

Screen Size

The type of Users can decide the project file can be decided type according to the dimension of each Xpanel model.
You can choose a model from the table below.

Allows the user to determine their own custom project-page pixel width. A default selection will be made when selecting any screen size besides custom.

Allows the user to determine their own custom project-page pixel length. A default selection will be made when selecting any screen size besides custom.

Password

Checkbox

Sets up the When the box is checked, the user can set up a password for the project. The password must be entered with the following criteria.Password requirement:

  1. You can use alphanumeric. The password is case-sensitive.

  2. You may use special characters and spaces.

  3. The password must contain at least 8 characters.

  4. The password is displayed as “****” while you type. You may toggle the visibility icon to reveal the password.

New Password

Enter a new password for the project.

Re-Enter Password

Re-enter the project password to confirm.

The password you selected cannot be retrieved if forgotten.

OK

Creates Click to create a project with the entered information.

Cancel

Does not create a project and goes Discard the project creation process and redirect back to the start-up screen.
