To communicate with external devices, Xpanel each device needs to register each device be registered and configured within the Xpanel project configuration. This is done through the ‘I/O Device’ configuration menu. Data sent to and received from external registered devices can then be managed using the tag database.
Xpanel supports approximately 90 communication drivers, categorized into serial communication (RS232/422/485) and Ethernet communication (UDP/TCP).
