(1) Paste from database to EXCEL

a)      Select the tag to copy to Excel in tagEditor. You can select all or part of the tag using Shift + click or Ctrl + click. When you select a group tag, all tags under the selected group are selected.

b)    Copy the selected tags to the clipboard (Ctrl + c).

c)      Paste (Ctrl + v) the copied contents into the Excel sheet. The contents of each column are different depending on the type of tag. Please refer to the table in ‘Excel data types of each tag types’ for the contents to be copied.

Press Ctrl+v to enter tag information from the database saved on the clipboard into Excel.

d)     Edit the database in Excel. You can create continuous tags using Excel's increase/decrease functions.

(2)    Paste from EXCEL to targeteditor

a)      Select the area to copy in EXCEL. You must select from the very first column, and then drag to the desired column.

b)     Copy it to the clipboard and paste it into the database manager. If the same tag name already exists, the content of the tag is updated, and if it does not exist, the tag is added.
