First, check if the protective film is removed. The protective film is only there for temporary protection of product. It must be removed before operating the product. If there seems to be a problem even when the protective film is removed, please refer to the following steps.

(1) Intended and actual touchpoints are different.

The device might require additional calibration. Calibration methods are described below.

  • Calibrating Xpanel using long-touch

The way can be only used when the preset below is applied.

Xpanel Calibration using long-touch

a) Select the Configure button in the [Ethernet Loader] dialog box.

b) Check the box Hold time(sec) for Touch Calibration and set touch time in the range of 30 seconds to 32767 seconds. Select the Save and Quit button.

c) When the location is not recognized, press and hold a random point on the Xpanel screen (default value is 30 seconds).

d) Click the center of the crosshair according to the introduction.

e) A confirmation notification of calibration completion will popup.

 

  • Setting in the [Xpanel Config] dialog box

When the problem occurs in an emergency situation and you cannot initiate calibration by the press and hold method, you may connect a mouse to the USB host of Xpanel and perform calibration easily.

a) You can connect a mouse to the USB host port of the Xpanel. Click the screen as shown by the below numbered sequence to bring up the [Xpanel Config] dialog box.

b) Select [Touch Calibration].

c) Click the center of crosshair according to the introduction.

d) A confirmation notification of calibration completion will popup.

 

(2) There is no response after the screen is touched.

When the same situation occurs even when you have restarted Xpanel, contact the vendor or CIMON service center, for product inspection.
