Address

With this option, the string value (the row number in the string table) is chosen by a real address value with BIT or WORD data. You may type the device address in the ‘Input Device Address’ dialog box or choose an address by pressing the  button. Note that WORD data will be treated as an unsigned 16-bit integer.

Tag Name

With this option, the string value (the row number in the string table) is chosen by a digital or analog tag value. You can manually enter the tag name in the text field or browse for the tag by pressing the  button.

String Group

Specify the group number in which the string values are defined. You can choose a string group between 0 and 32767.
